If Then, Go To

I was reading on a sunny afternoon at a local coffee shop. Then something happened, so I made a comic about it.

Huffing Post

I recently picked up some new software. Here's my first comic using Manga Studio 5:

Dog & Tricks

A bit long and late in posting, but I've got two in a row to make up for it. The first is a quick sketch from a recent open mic night:

Will You Still Love Me, When I'm 23?

Below you will find some old drawings I found while filtering my lifejunk. The first was drawn on my actual 23rd birthday. The second was probably sometime thereafter, during a boring day of substitute teaching. But they're both brilliant in the their own way.

Change (Of Scenery)

The following is a wordless comic representing a recent trip north, and possibly a more permanent change of scenery. But, as usual, nothing is certain. I enjoyed creating the palette for each stage, though. And this blog definitely needed a splash of color. Am I right?

Variation on a Theme: Holding Pattern

Like I said, I might approach this theme in some different ways. This one was hand drawn and inked, then scanned. Happy double-post Sunday!

Holding Pattern

This may or may not be the final version of this concept, but I wanted to get something posted. This is another sort of experiment with style; very sparse, using line to lead your eye. Or at least I think so. In terms of story, in typical fashion it's metaphorically vague autobiography. That's a genre, right?
